Hey friends – quick update for you! We are just 7 days away from Fan Expo Chicago 2024, and all we have on our minds is Star Wars.

If you’re a Con-head like me, you know that every show you attend ends up having a personal theme. It’s one of the hallmarks of attending any convention you find yourself drawn to. The fun part is identifying this theme before the show. I usually can’t do this, but this year is an exception. And that theme is… (drum roll, please despite us telling you in the first paragraph…)

That’s right, dear readers – we are fully invested in all things Star Wars for Fan Expo 2024. This decision was rather easy. In the last couple of years, we targeted all things comic books because of guests like Frank Miller. But this year, Fan Expo went all out on Star Wars guests. The biggest highlights are, without a doubt, Luke Skywalker and Anakin Skywalker. It’s because of this father-and-son duo that we decided to make Star Wars our theme.

We will be covering the entire show, of course, but our main focus will be on all things Star Wars. Here’s what we plan on covering: Star Wars panels, cosplay, comics, cards, and merch!

Speaking of Star Wars merch….

Of course, the biggest highlight of them all will be the Mark Hamill panel set for Friday evening. We’ll most likely be waiting in line for hours, but it’s worth it considering he is the face of Star Wars. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that we simply cannot miss.
