Alright, dear readers — as you know, TGM covers all things pop culture. Over the past three years, we’ve been diving deeper into the world of trading cards  both sport and non-sport. This isn’t entirely new for us, it’s more like reconnecting with our childhoods. Over the years, I’ve built up a pretty awesome collection myself, including highlights like a serialized Magic: The Gathering card, just to name one.

With that in mind, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be covering the biggest card show on the planet: The National Sports Collectors Convention, often just called The National, or The Nat or The Natie if you are cool.

This legendary show brings together collectors, dealers, athletes, and fans from all corners of the hobby. This is our first time attending, so we fully expect to be overwhelmed — in the best possible way. From what we’ve seen and researched, it promises to be massive, engaging, and full of surprises for newbies and veteran collectors alike.

You can expect fan perspectives straight from a first-timer’s eyes, plenty of photos, and maybe even a few interviews if we’re lucky enough to snag them.
