I am beyond thrilled to share some news that has been years in the making: my debut book, House of God, is coming out soon by Anuci Press. It is hard to put into words what this moment means to me, but I will try.

Writing this story has been an intense, deeply personal journey. Every page, every scene, every character has been shaped by my own experiences, fears, and imagination. From the very first sentence, I poured my heart into this work, and to see it finally coming to life is nothing short of surreal.

When I was a kid, my very first story was about a boxer who had put concrete in his gloves to win a boxing match. It was a detective story called The Case of the Championship Boxer. It was not really a detective story, but rather a scene looking back at it. That experience was both rewarding and frustrating because my teacher literally wrote “No plagiarizing” on it. I had no idea what that meant until later.

It was in high school that I resumed my writing efforts. I spent a lot of time in the library writing, oddly enough, Resident Evil fan fiction, and an idea about an underground movie director who actually killed people in his movies. I also wrote a few scripts with a friend, poorly I might add, one being The Ax-Hand Massacre, about, you guessed it, a killer going out and murdering people with an ax hand. These early stories taught me the thrill of imagination, the discipline of writing, and the excitement of creating something wholly my own. In hindsight, the act of wanting to create and collaborate with friends has ( still is) very heavy in my blood. I realized that, potentially, this might have driven away friends as my eagerness to create probably squashed quality 1:1 time. But life is about learning and learning is through living an authentic life. I have grown yet still remain the genuine person I have always been. I can hang my hat on that until the day I die.

For anyone who has ever dreamed of seeing their words in print, you know that the path is never easy. There are moments of doubt, frustration, and exhaustion, but there are also moments of pure joy, of discovery, and of connection with something larger than yourself. House of God represents all of that for me: the struggle, the triumph, and the hope that my story can reach and resonate with readers.

The making of this book is absolutely legendary in my eyes. If I don’t ever write again I can say that I got to collaborate with Grammy nominated artist Bryan Moss. Now that is a freaking rare treat, dear readers. What he came up with is a visual mirror of every emotion, every shadowy terror that is hidden in the book.

I cannot wait for you to step into the world I have created, to meet the characters who have been living in my mind for years, and to experience the story that has consumed me for so long. This is more than just a book coming out. It is a dream realized, a milestone reached, and a personal victory that I will cherish forever.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I hope you enjoy reading House of God as much as I enjoyed writing it
