TGM Family,

Something is happening in Chicago.

Just yesterday, Fan Expo Chicago began teasing what they describe as a legendary guest announcement. Not just another celebrity appearance. Not just another convention guest. Their marketing has been unusually confident, suggesting that this is a legend beyond legends, a true Hollywood icon.

Now, convention marketing is convention marketing. We all know that. Every show wants to generate excitement and sell tickets. But this definitely different.

Fan Expo Chicago has been steadily raising the bar over the last several years, bringing in bigger names, larger reunions, and creating genuine experiences for fans. This latest teaser feels less like a marketing ploy and more like a sincere effort to deliver something special to the people who attend the show every year.

My advice? If you’re planning on attending Fan Expo Chicago in 2026, buy your tickets now. If this announcement is as significant as they’re suggesting, prices aren’t likely to get any friendlier and demand could spike quickly.

One clue that caught my attention is Fan Expo’s partnership with Official Pix. Because of that relationship, it’s reasonable to speculate that the mystery guest could be someone connected to their existing roster of major talent and signings.

So who do I think it is?

My leading candidate is Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The wording in the email and online posts immediately made me think of Arnold. Few people in Hollywood have a more recognizable voice. Few people have a larger cultural footprint. Whether you know him from The Terminator, Predator, Total Recall, Conan the Barbarian, or simply decades of pop culture history, Schwarzenegger is the definition of an icon.

The other possibility, and one I think is equally plausible, is Sylvester Stallone.

Like Arnold, Stallone transcends fandom. Rocky and Rambo aren’t just movies; they’re cultural institutions. He is one of the last remaining larger-than-life movie stars from an era when Hollywood created legends rather than celebrities.

Of course, this is all speculation. Fan Expo Chicago hasn’t revealed the name yet, and there may be a surprise waiting for all of us. But based on the clues they’ve provided, my money is on Arnold Schwarzenegger or Sylvester Stallone.

Either way, if Fan Expo delivers on the hype, Chicago fans are in for something special.

Stay tuned y’all!
